Lito lingers behind him, always present and careful. He does not have to be connected to Will to see the heartache, but he is connected and so he feels it deep in his gut, a grief that he hasn't felt since he first arrived howling Hernando's name for anyone to hear. "It's not her," is what Lito quietly says.
